Geckos: Tails to Toepads

Open Mic Poetry Reading
Callanwolde’s popular summertime coffee house series returns with live music, coffee and refreshments and open-mic poetry readings. Held in the unique setting of the Callanwolde Library, the evening begins at 7:30 with a compelling musical performance by poet, songwriter and musician Kodac Harrison. Harrison combines character studies and tales of travel with his bluesy, folk-soul music. Then at 8:15, the open mic readings are open to poets who would like to read their original poetry.

Callanwolde’s Jazz on the Lawn series presents special outdoor concerts featuring many of the area’s best musicians. Learn to appreciate authentic Argentine tango! You will learn about the rhythm and movement of Argentine Tango and how to focus on connecting with the music and your partner.
