Welcome Receptions
All professional tour companies booking overnight accommodations in DeKalb County are entitled to a complimentary welcome reception at our visitor center in historic Downtown Decatur in the Old Courthouse on the Square. Friendly DeKalb Ambassadors will greet your group, provide seasonal snacks, a free gift and discounts for local shopping. All you have to do is call!
Promotional Assistance
Once your tour to Atlanta's DeKalb County is planned, we want to assist you in making sure that the tour sells! Slides are available for use in making presentations to groups or for reproducing in your tour flyers, brochures and catalogs. All color slide images are owned by DCVB, so you have our permission to use them to sell DeKalb.
Familiarization Tours & Site Inspections
Sometimes it can be difficult to decide which of the Atlanta-area attractions to include in a tour itinerary and especially tough to select a hotel without seeing each site first hand. DCVB works with the other Atlanta-area tourism offices to plan and host annual familiarization tours of the entire area.
